Tamara Clark practices in the areas of intellectual property law and business transactions including preparing and prosecuting patent applications, confidentiality agreements, intellectual property acquisitions and various aspects of trademark law, including prosecution of trademark and service mark applications. Tamara has been with Miller IP since 2008, and is also a small business owner.
Recently, Tamara implemented an updated docketing system for the firm to ensure that Miller IP provides their clients with reliable legal services, and she continues to monitor developing technology to ensure that Miller IP continues to effectively and efficiently meet the needs of its clients.
Prior to joining Miller IP, Tamara worked for a fuel cell company as a liaison between the engineers and business leaders of the company. Tamara also had her own solo practice before joining Miller IP. Prior to law school, Tamara worked as a biochemist sequencing DNA, and has even worked on the trading floor at the New York Mercantile Exchange. All of this experience has given Tamara an understanding of law, science and business, and she also understands the need for fortitude and perseverance to accomplish goals.
Tamara earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry Biotechnology from Michigan State University. She earned her law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in Urbana-Champaign. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the American Bar Association.
